If you're reading this, welcome to my blog! My name is Naomi C. (Ms. C), I'm a student at Columbus State Community College and as I'm writing this I'm currently a first year in my second semester. Im from Ensenada, Baja California, a small coastal town with the most amazing fish tacos you will ever try. Despite being from a small coastal town, I've spent the majority of my life living in Ohio, more specifically Dublin. I have a passion for reading, paddle boarding, and gardening. Currently, I'm studying Early Childhood Education and I hope to acquire a bachelor of Primary Education at The Ohio State University.
As an educator, I hope to accomplish a multitude of goals; however, my biggest goal as an educator is simply the hope that I am able to create a safe and inclusive classroom where every student is able and capable to learn. I feel like that goal is the biggest one as it is the foundation of anything and everything. A lack of inclusivity and safety can become the biggest "make-or-break" for a student as this determines how much a student raises their hand, expresses concern, and is overall able to come to me or their peers if they ever need extra help. Overall, as an educator, I hope that I am to instill into every student that they too can learn anything their heart desires.
